Our Methodology
Our mind is a curious yet powerful aggregation of emotions, temperament and instincts, all compressed into one. It allows human beings to process, configure and breakdown information into systematic neural pathways. In simple words we understand this phenomenon as cognition.
Based on the individual capacity of the student, we give practical knowledge, which helps them in their daily lives such as operation of calculators, financial transactions (buying and selling etc) and other vocational activities. Few of our students have also been integrated in normal schools successfully after being groomed and trained at HOPE.
Pre Vocational Training
These children undergo vocational courses, which make them self-reliant. With the help of these courses the students are able to make rakhis, decorate gift envelopes, stitch saree petticoats / aprons and lanterns for diwali. They are also trained in handlooming and paddle loom and varied other tasks. Some of the other activities, which are taught are preparing food items, incense sticks , vegetable cleaning and cutting. Students are also trained to operate photocopying and file making machines and other household appliances.
Co-Curricular Training
To increase the self-confidence of the students and to prepare them for social interaction, the school has initiated many cultural and extra curricular activities such as celebration of festivals, picnics, sports, and crafts. These activities increase their confidence level and groom them to be a part of society.
Adoption
We assist students from economically backward classes by adopting them and funding their education.
Medical Care
Free medical check up camp once a year. Consultation by Physician, Pediatrician, Dentist, Ophthalmologist, Gynaecologist, Dietician etc alongwith dispensing medicines and vaccinations.
Awareness
Educating Parents by arranging lectures by various professionals which would help them in assisting their child and preparing them for a meaningful and purpose driven future. Conducting awareness programs in and out of school.tque
